How Does the Ozmist System Work?

“Flash Evaporation” is a relatively new technology for most Australians. It has, however, been recognised internationally as a highly effective cooling and humidification choice for over 30 years. The ultra fine mist used in flash evaporation is created by a state-of-the-art Ozmist Pump module which pressurises normal mains water to 1000 PSI. The water then travels from the pump via high pressure nylon or stainless steel tubing and is forced through specially designed nozzles. Each nozzle has a stainless steel impeller that atomizes the high pressure water flow into billions of 10 to 30 micron droplets, with 10 microns being 1/10th the thickness of a human hair. These droplets then absorb the latent heat in the surrounding air, delivering up to a 12 degree Centigrade reduction in temperature with no wetting of floors or surfaces.
