Why workplace cooling is so important?

Its a well known fact that high summer temperatures contribute significantly to increased productivity losses, low morale and staff turn over. Safety is also important factor. A hot, uncomfortable worker is far more likey to make mistakes.

Energy consumption
The Ozmist 3-speed oscillating fans draws less than 1 amp on high speed. Water usage is also low – each misting nozzle in the Ozmist Misting System uses less than 6 litres of water per hour – when using the Ozmist six-nozzle fan ring, that’s a water consumption of just 5.3 litres per minute.

Unlike evaporative air conditioning systems the Ozmist system is not affected by large access doors being left open.Roof penetrations and structural alterations are nor normally required. In the case of a leased building, a large Ozmist Misting System could quickly and easily be removed – allowing the equipment to be reused at another location.

Installation is a relatively quick and simple process with most systems being installed in less than one day. All tube fittings are of the compression type or our new range on “Push Fit” fittings, and are easily joined to the nylon or stainless steel tube.

Energy consumption has always been an important factor when choosing a cooling system. With commercial power rated on the rise, and the ever-increasing pressure to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, it becomes more important than ever. Depending on the Ozmist pump module selected, total running current ranges from 3.5 amps to 8.5 amps.
