Dust Suppression & Odour Control

The Ozmist Dust Suppression System is an extremely effective way of controlling fugitive dust. It is very simple in operation, has a low initial purchase cost, no adverse effects on product quality, low operating costs and will not have any detrimental effects on plant and machinery.

The Ozmist system, operating at 1000PSI, produces an extremely fine water droplet that averages 10 micron in size. The fine droplets effectively knock the small dust particles out of the air without adding any detectable moisture to the process.

The Ozmist system uses mains pressure town water that is pressurized to 1000 PSI by the state of the art Ozmist pump module. The high pressure water is forced from the pump module through high pressure nylon distribution lines. The distribution lines then connect to either nylon tubing with special nozzle adaptors cut into the tube or through 316 grade stainless steel tube atomization lines. Threaded spigots are welded to the stainless steel atomization lines.

Specially designed brass nozzles with a ceramic face are then screwed into the spigots. The nozzles have a 2 piece body that incorporates an anti drip check valve. When the system is shut down the check valve stops the flow of water to the nozzle orifice, eliminating drops. Power and water usage charges are minimal. Each misting nozzle uses just .055lpm ectricity consumption is also very low.

The atomization lines are either fixed to the building structure with mist blown over the nominated areas or are suspended above the drive ways on stainless steel cable. The system can be fully automated to facilitate easy and trouble free operation.
