Indoor Fixed Systems

The Ozmist system is extremely versatile and is used to cool Factories, Workshops, Smash Repairers, Joineries, Fruit and Vegetable Packing Sheds, Restaurants, Cafes and much more.

Using “Flash Evaporation” technology Misting Systems provides a temperature drop of up to 12 degrees Celsius even in the hottest conditions. Normal mains water is pumped at very high pressure and discharged through specially designed nozzles that atomize the water into billions of tiny droplets (one tenth the thickness of a human hair) and is discharged into the atmosphere through a static line or via a large fan with a reach of up to 13 meters.

As the droplets of water hit the hot atmosphere they use up the heat energy in the air as they evaporate. Each gram of water removes around 540 calories of heat energy, thus cooling the immediate area. OZmist Misting systems are extremely versatile and quickly and easily installed. Using a 600 meter square workshop as an example, installation of the system using 4 wall mounted fans would take less than 8 hours for two people. The OZmist system is not adversely affected by large access doors being left open is commonly used for the spot cooling of work stations. Only cooling work stations and not the whole building can reduce the purchase cost of a suitable air conditioning system by tens of thousands of dollars.

Depending on the customers requirements either High velocity wall mounted misting fans or suspended Static Misting Lines are used. Both systems offer an effective way of combating extreme heat in the work place.
