The Ozmist range of Industrial Pump modules are manufactured by Ozmist in Australia using the highest quality components and engineered for continuous duty. The pump cabinet is Laser Cut from 1.2mm 304 grade Stainless Steel and is supplied with a “brushed finish”.
Pump modules are equipped with a single phase thermally protected motor. The pump unitis a CAT triplex piston pump that has a brass head with stainless steel pistons and ceramic plungers. CAT are arguably the most respected manufacturer of high pressure pump units in the world!
Operation is via the illuminated selector switch on the end panel.
To ensure clean water for the ultra fine misting nozzles, Ozmist Pump Modules have two 10” filter housings plumbed into the system. The filter cartridges are fitted to a stainless steel bracket at the rear of the pump module. Housings have a 10 and 5 micron sediment filter cartridge installed to remove dirt from the incoming water supply. Cartridges are easily sourced and changed when required. Cartridge life span will depend on water quality.
The connection point to the filter cartridges is a 3/4” FI thread and comes supplied with a snap on hose connector.
A Pressure gauge to show the water inlet pressure is set into the control panel on the end of the cabinet.
A high pressure outlet gauge to facilitate pump pressure adjustment is set into the control panel of the pump module.
The pump is also equipped with a low pressure cut off switch that shuts the pump unit off if insufficient water pressure (20 psi/2 bar) is present.
An electric solenoid drain valve in the pump module opens when the system is shut down. This relieves water pressure in the pump head on shut down so that nozzles will not drip.
An hour meter is set into the end panel of the pump module. The hour meter helps with scheduling maintenance.
Cooling to the inside of the pump module is provided by a 120mm fan that starts when the selector switch is turned to the on position. The fan is located in the control end panel with a 120mm inlet guard fitted at the other end to give a flow through of fresh air to the pump and motor.
The laser cut lid is fastened to the cabinet by stainless steel Phillips Head screws.
