Features

  • Simple to install, thick walled semi rigid nylon tubing in ⅜” or ½” with full range of ‘push lock’ components and fittings to suit any design or layout.
  • Effective mist formula, a system running at 1000psi or 70bar creates a fine mist from each nozzle without drips or wet areas.
  • An ‘all in one’ solution for cooling, odour suppression and application of sanitation for health and hygiene.
  • Low flow rate for such a high surface area & therefore so effective for cooling, dust suppression and containing pungent odours

Specifications

  • OZmist’s nozzles creates millions of tiny 5-10 micron droplets that atomise on release, evaporating and cooling, without condensation or drips.
  • Flow rates per nozzle are 0.2mm (56ml/minute) or 0.15mm (36ml/minute)
  • Pumps come in a variety of sizes and will have a maximum flow rate / number of nozzles they can run. Pump modules are chosen based on the size of the system required, keeping in mind factors such as operations, future expansion or multi zones.
  • Thick walled high pressure tubing comes in ½” and ⅜” and rated to 1400psi.

Benefits

  • Simple Installation, fixed in a set position with no moving parts. Once installed it does not have to be touched again.
  • Drip Free, no wetting of objects, floors or materials when running a high pressure pump.
  • Quiet Operation, pumps can be located close by, with tubing to connect the system.
  • Adaptable, can be installed to surfaces with our nylon coated tube saddles or hung from cabling or wire.
  • A very effective way to cool environments such as barns, sheds, workshops, stables etc.
  • Works seamlessly with our odour suppression modules
  • Discreet, low profile and targeted. Mist lines are efficient and can get mist to where it’s most needed.
  • Versatile, lines can be branched off for different purposes or zones, all from the 1 pump.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use a High-Pressure Pump with your Static Systems?
Yes, if no high-Pressure Pump is used regular mains pressure will not have sufficient force to open the orifice on our 0.2mm Nozzles and will dribble water and wet the
surrounding area.

Can I install the delivery line, tubing to any surface?
We would recommend that our Fixed lines be installed on solid surface (timber, steel or masonry) with the saddles ‘P’ clips supplied. It can also be cable tied to existing cabling or overhead stainless catenary wire that can be installed, this is neat, quick and a great option for spanning open areas that would otherwise be hard to connect. Avoid fixing mist lines to any thin or hollow material such as guttering or colourbond sheeting, as noise vibration will amplify.

What are the best ways to control and automate the pump operation?
OZmist has a number of options for automation including thermostats, cycle timers, weather stations (wind direction), humidistats, motion sensors etc that control when
pumps activate.

Cycle timers provide great control for most environments with on/off dials to control intervals. ie mist 1 minute “On”, 5 minutes “Off”.

Misting has great benefits but over misting can create issues especially in enclosed areas such as farm sheds etc so we’d always cover this with each client.
