Benefits of Dust Suppression Systems

Improve health & safety standards

OZmist is leading the way in smarter, safer dust management—trusted by industry leaders across Australia and beyond.
Dust suppression on industrial sites is essential not only for worker health, but also compliance, equipment longevity and operational efficiency. Construction dust often contains fine particles of silica and other hazardous materials that pose serious respiratory risks from exposure.

Matching mist droplet to dust particle size is essential to be most effective, which is why our equipment use the placement of tiny nozzles & pumps that pressurise systems to 1000psi / 70 bar within each of our systems.

Our method creates millions of fine water droplets that atomise upon release, as ultra-fine mist remains suspended in the air longer, effectively bonding with dust particles and dropping them safely to the ground.

OZmist’s fog cannons and fixed misting systems will not wet the product, floors or take it’s toll on equipment as is the case with traditional sprinklers, wetting techniques & spray bars.

Investing in effective dust suppression is critical to the well being of workers given the stricter safety regulations around silica dust (RCS) these days. Equally important for our customers is partnering with a local manufacturer with support readily available and quick turnaround of any spares required to keep projects running on time, and on budget.

Suitable for:

Mining, Construction, Transfer Stations, Demolition & Warehousing

Reduce Operational Costs
A trusted Australian manufacturer, OZmist’s systems are built for our climate, using significantly less water than multi stage pumps and traditional wetting methods.

All spare parts are available in Australia and OZmist keeps a number available in stock.

Increase Productivity
OZmist’s innovative self contained fog cannons have generators and onboard water tanks, saving projects time, logistics & cost.

Maximum efficiency, tiny mist droplets hang in the air longer and with no excess wetting of equipment or materials.

Avoid Complaints, Scrutiny & EPA Action
EPA visits can impact operations, or lead to fines & shutdowns. Stricter laws covering crystalline silica (RCS), Codes of Practice & dust exposure levels, have recently been introduced. This mirrors cases of greater compensation & liability.
